Terminated near Laverne.
We targeted a cell just SW of Perryton early. Did not do anything interesting. Targeted a cell just to it’s south. Stayed on this one quite awhile as it grew into an hp supercell. V2 personnel reported a couple tornadoes. We saw the second one. Visibility was very bad and it had only dow 6 radar coverage. Heading south to target another cell entering lipscomb county. Did not deploy on this cell – fc thinks it is elevated – did not show any signs of strong low-level rotation. Ended mission and 00 UTC since the dryline is not firing. Roger got a few minutes of pictures on the tornado. Visibility was limited – and he was not with a radar – radar coverage was sparse – perhaps only dow 6.
HD video and DSLR imagery were collected by all three photogrammetry teams.
