Mission Location: Leoti, KS

Description:

The V2 armada deployed on a cell just north of Leoti, KS.  Radar teams reported decent mid-level rotation.  Low-level rotation was relatively weak in this northward moving storm.  CAMA deployed with NOXP to the east of the storm.  Visibility was very good from their deployment location.  Visually, the wall cloud went through a number of genesis cycles.  Very brief funnels were observed at cloud base.  CAMB also deployed in a similar location as CAMA and observed similar features.  Many of the X-band radars deployed in rain thus making collocated deployments with CAMA-C difficult.

HD video and DSLR imagery were collected by CAMA and CAMB.  CAMC did not deploy.
