Mission Location: N of Dallas/Ft. Worth

A large cell west of Ft. Worth split and produced a left moving supercell with an anticyclonic hook, well observed in level 3 and V2 X-band data.  CAMA and CAMB deployed with DOW7 and DOW6, respectively near Slidell, TX.  CAMA was positioned at: 33.410415N, 97.441268W and took pictures and HD from 00:58 – 01:14 UTC on the 27th.  CAMA also took some pictures en route to deployment of the observed wall cloud.  CAMB did not take any pictures or HD.  CAMA then moved NW to collocate with UMASS X to avoid the oncoming core.  CAMA deployed at: 33.479155N, 97.52715W and took pictures from 01:26 – 01:50 UTC of the same cell.

All photo and video times are in CDT (UTC -5).
