Mission Location: north of Alliance, NE
The VORTEX 2 armada deployed on a cell north of Alliance, NE. CAMA was located at Latitude 42.358155 N, Longitude 102.83093 W. Note that CAMA was not collocated with DOW7. HD video and DSLR stills were taken from about 23:45 – 23:55 UTC. CAMB was collocated with the NOXP radar (42.3422N, 102.8506W). Due to the rather quick deployment, proximity to the storm, and precipitation observed at this site, CAMB did not record any HD video or shoot DSLR still imagery.
