The Advanced Very High
Resolution Radiometer (AVHRR). The AVHRR is a
radiation-detection imager and has five detectors which
collect data in five channels given below:
- Note that there is no water vapor
channel
- Note that there are two visible
channels
- Note the 1km resolution in ALL
channels
