Forecasting from local signs and common sense

Whenever you are forecasting, look out the window and be aware of your local weather situation.

Examples:

1) Surface winds from the S or SW; clouds building to the west; warm, hot, humid....  Whats going on/process?  Forecast?  

2) Surface winds from the E or SE, cool or cold; high clouds thickening and lowering; halo around the sun or moon.... Whats going on/process?  Forecast?  

3) Clear winter night, relatively calm with low rh..... Whats going on/process?  Forecast?

4) Clear winter night, relatively calm with low rh, snow covering the ground..... Whats going on/process?  Forecast?

5. Cloudy winter night, relatively calm with low rh....  Whats going on/process?  Forecast?

6. Clear, hot, humid summer evening..... Whats going on/process?  Forecast?

7. Clear and relatively dry summer evening...... Whats going on/process?  Forecast?

8. Summer - surface winds are from the N and they become NE, then E, the SE..... Whats going on/process?  Forecast?

9. Summer - surface winds are from the NE and they become N, the NW..... Whats going on/process?  Forecast?

10. Summer - scattered Cu that show extensive vertical growth by mid morning.... Whats going on/process?  Forecast?

11. Afternoon Cu with flat bases, and tops at just about the same level...... Whats going on/process?  Forecast?
